Stormy Day

Some big thunderstorms around yesterday. Download the time lapse movie here. The camera even caught a bolt of lightning during the 17:00 storm - pretty lucky considering it's only capturing frames every ten seconds or so.

You can see some storms kick off in the distance from as early as 10:30 - these were near the East Coast of Norfolk and gave some large hail in places.

Somehow - although there was thunder from about 15:00 onwards, we managed to stay dry here - the clouds were all around us but never overhead.

Another storm passed to the North at around 18:30, but by 19:00 all activity ceased - leaving a chaotic sky full of convective debris.
